Hi, I’m Yamelet, the owner and designer behind Oro Sun Boutique. At 25, I’m living my dream of running my own boutique, a passion I’ve had since I was young. My journey began with a love for tailoring thrifted finds and led me to pursue a degree in Apparel Entrepreneurship. Now, I design every piece and manage all aspects of my business—from the website to shipments and social media.

Why Oro Sun

The name Oro Sun comes from a gold necklace I wear, featuring a sun and moon charm. There’s a story behind it: the sun and moon were once a couple, and to help create Earth, they made the ultimate sacrifice—no longer being able to see each other. As a reward, they are allowed to reunite during the most beautiful moments of the day—the sunset and sunrise. This story deeply resonates with me, and I wanted my brand to embody that beauty and connection. Oro (gold) represents the warmth and radiance of the sun, and the gold accents in my designs reflect that essence. Even my brand tag features a gold sun with the initials "OS," symbolizing the heart of the brand.
